The little black and white dog is fidel and he arrived at the shelter with his entire family (5 in total) when their owner died. Fidel is the older, he is around 9 to 10 years of age, the youngest is 3 years. One of the females was born without half a leg, she is on the second from the left photo. When they arrived at the shelter they were very scared and would not let anyone near them but now they are getting used to people and becaming very friendly. The girl with the short leg is the only one still very nervous, perhaps she feels more vulnerable. As they have always been together it would be difficult to separate them, they would be very unhappy. Because they are very quiet and small they could live happily in a house with a garden or large yard. A farmhouse where they could live outside would be ideal.
