Who are we

The Osona Animal Protection association manages the shelter in the municipality of Gurb, near Vic and is known locally as the “Protectora de Osona”.

Here we give shelter to dogs and cats from all the municipalities in the county, animals who have had the misfortune of being left without a home, either because they have become older and need more attention, because they got lost and the owners have not been able to find them o simply because they are no longer wanted and have been abandoned.

Whatever the reason, all these animals are waiting for a new family to love them. There are a few that are old and probably will never be adopted, to these we will give as good a life as we can. But there are many that can be adopted who will give love and happiness for many years to come. These are the animals we want to show you in these pages.

If you have room in your home and in your hearts for an animal that deserves all the love you can give him, come to see them, or if you are too far, get in touch with us. In these pages we can only show you a few, there are many more.
